Our client is urgently looking for an experienced human resource and admin manager. You should be analytical, knowledgeable, and organized with a proactive attitude and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role, with a thorough understanding of Human Resources and general administration.

 

 

Human Resource & Admin Manager :


Objective :-

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the facility. 

  • Provide management and administrative support to the organization

  • Design, develop and implement the compensation and benefits framework, policies & procedures in line with the regional guidelines.

  • Ensure that the right level of staff is available and administer all staff issues accordingly.

  • Support all employees in Mauritius and ensure smooth running of HR processes.


Responsibilities :

  • Forecast, plan and lead the core HR initiatives

  • Prepare and manage budget for the HR related expenses and report the same to the Region

  • Analyse statistical reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and provide recommendations for improvement of organization’s policies and practices

  • Manpower planning and execution of entire gamut of the recruitment process

  • Talent Attraction, Engagement, Development & Retention

  • Measure the effectiveness of compensation policies and procedures, recommend new plans and compensation revisions which are cost effective and consistent with the Regional guidelines

  • Plan and lead the Performance Management System

  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws – PF/PT/MLWF/Pension etc. Supervise preparation of reports required by the law

  • Maintain and compile data of personnel records such as new hire, transfer, exit, absenteeism etc.

  • Maintain and update Employee Handbook and HR Forms

  • Supervise timely completion of Hiring, Confirmation & Exit formalities

  • Supervise timely completion of post joining process, confirmation process

  • Monitor SAP and send various reports to the Regional HR and Management

  • Keep appraised of labour laws and regulations and ensure compliance

  • Create reports and management information as and when required

  • Guide team to resolve all queries for all the HR related issues

  • Supervise the payroll process and all labour law issues and update the management if any revision

  • Supervise and ensure staff performance reviews are conducted

  • Ensure Talent Development programs are conducted

  • Supervise execution of quarterly Rewards & Recognition Program

  • Provide support and administer all aspects of International Human Resources, including the supervision of expatriate and corporate relocation programs

  • Liaison with Regional HR, communicate and execute various Human Resource procedures

  • Procure necessary goods for managing the facility

  • Manage all the office events

  • Prepare Budget & Cost analysis

  • Ensure tight control on the Admin budget

  • Ensure all Compliance requirements are met 

  • Ensure Safety & Security of all the employees at all times

  • Manage Employee & Asset Insurance

  • Ensure sustainability of the office


Qualifications :

  • 8-10 years industry experience

  • Expert Understanding of HR Management required

  • Expert Understanding of Administration required

  • Expert negotiation skills

  • Understanding of data quality bench-marking and management

  • Ability to promptly process data

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities for the team, organize work and implement action items

  • Ability to work under pressure (meeting deadlines), handle details and resolve problems.

  • Expert Knowledge of user application systems (MS Office, Word, Excel, SAP)

  • Good command of written and spoken English

  • Good at interpersonal Skills

  • Effective planning, organising and managing skills
